CAS..No discounts for suites ? New?

Mine just says: CATEGORY / STATEROOM: H9-H5 and only has META in my code.

Yours is only a meta (in the same category, suite to suite) the "H" is your category. When you go from 1 full category up it shows as METAUP (inside to oceanview, oceanview to balcony etc).

If you are only getting a "discount", then it is possible you are not at a play level that would get a comped cabin, or mini or even a comped suite.

 

Please do not generalize stuff folks.

 

No generalizing. I shouldn't have said high level. But, if you are getting any discount at all with CAS, you are on their gambling radar and have lost what they consider a decent amount on a cruise. I'd guess the amount is in line with any diacount they'd offer. To say they are "losing money" is silly. They know exactly how to make plenty of money.

LOL I only know it because of my BOA Ncl credit card. That is one of the things you've u can use points for (upgrades) kinda stinks cause even using $600 in points can only upgrade as far as a minisuite. I usually pay less then that based on CAS pricing so I use it for OBC.

Yep there's a couch we are good to go lol. Maybe with both of our comps we can get a DOS lol if we include Cathy (limmie) we might get a garden villa lol

 

 

Yanno the more I think about it...if we get a few people who are casino girls we really could get a good price on a garden villa

Holy Moly........I forgot all about that. I need to check mine to see how much is there. Don't really know if I'd choose OBC because usually the CAS host takes off everything that is not Casino based or DSC. But then again.....I could use it to tip Butler/Concierge. But, then again, I have $300.00 already in OBC, which, btw, I hate that they split between first two on reservation. I booked the cruise.....I'm the reason CAS comped me the suite......yet, my GF or SIL get half of it! LOL

Would they be ok with you telling them it's really your OBC and maybe u using it for a spa treatment or something else using their card

Probably the only way I'll ever get into the 3 br. villa! LOL But agreed, it would be a great cruise!

 

However, believe it or not I did ask if I could combine my next two H9's to include a higher Haven Suite.....hoping for the 3 bedroom - of course, they said no, which I expected them to say! LOL

Sometimes I'll let them keep it...other times I use it to book some of our excursions by putting both of ours on their card. Other times we go to Guest Services to get Tip Vouchers with it. We work it out :)

The Garden Villa sleeps up to 8 people. So we'd need one more so we each can have our own bed! LOL

 

CAS would never allow it :(

What do u mean CAS wouls never allow it? I know it would not be s full comp but I'm sure if we have all gamblers they would give us a great price. Especially like an off season cruise. Oh how I'd love to be in a villa lol

I have turned it into OBC then would download it off the slot machines.

 

I would think if we tried something like that and they know they have 3-4 hard core gamblers and not 1 they would let us take a GV. I think they would prefer that then to have 1 player and 7 non gamblers in the room.

I have a few gamblers that could be added to the mix also.

I could get 2 gamblers for sure (my mom and 1 of ANY of her friends, their life is just 1 really big bet lol)
