Currently onboard Vision of the Seas

Recommended Posts

Today we will be departing on the Vision of the Seas! I plan on doing a picture heavy review once we get back. Does anyone have any questions or anything that they would like me to check out while onboard? Any particular pictures that they would like taken? I will be reading the requests till sail away today so let me know!

Pictures of the solarium and the centrum would be lovely please. We are sailing Vision in November having only sailed Freedom before, slightly worried the ship is going to feel small.

Those are two areas of the ship where we will be spending lots of time!

Don't worry about the ship feeling small. IMHO the 'smaller' ships actually feel more spacious. The centrum is a wonderful space and the aerialist shows superb.

Personally, I prefer smaller ships as I find them more relaxing - you don't feel that that you have to try everything. The only think I miss is the promenade and ice skating.

It is great to have such a choice of ships - all are special in their own way.

Pete.

I would love to know if the reports about the smokiness of the casino and the whole floor it is on are correct. Thanks so much for the offer. I am doing a TA on it on April 10.

Would you be so kind as to check on "Leon" a Suite Attendant. We are so very fond of him and think of him often. He was responsible for making one of our cruises very memorable. Best regards to Him and Thank You!

We'd appreciate information about and pictures of the fitness center, including locker rooms and the sauna/steam room. The one picture I've seen from a Vision review makes it look pretty small, and we've heard it is limited, but I'm sure it will be adequate for the cruise we'll be on next January. Thank you!

Reviews on the show, cruise director, and secret spots to hit up.....Tips like where to go for water and snacks in the middle of the night, areas on the ship that are not as crowded, etc. How to get here, how to get there, any theme nights, any specials that are ran (Drinks, sales, dining, etc.), And CRUISE COMPASSES :)

Thanks in advance and enjoy your vacation! Your review will be much appreciated!

Leon was our attendant a couple weeks ago on the Vision (GS-8508). Outstanding gentleman. He has 27 years with Royal Caribbean and we feel is a huge asset to the company.

The fitness center is TINY. We worked out a couple mornings and it was extremely crowded. I don't even recall seeing locker rooms and/or steam rooms. Certainly may have been there, I just don't recall seeing them.

I am taking note of all the things everyone is interested in! Let me say that was the quickest boarding and earliest we ever got on the ship! We where on by like 1030 lol! The ship is beautiful and very well kept. It's a bit chilly here today so just relaxing in the solarium. Big concern for us is not knowing what day it is because the elevator days of the week are not on this ship. [emoji1]. There is a decent size group of spring breakers! Everything is great so far! Keep posting your questions as I will be turning my cell off in a few hours!

Wow no days of the wk!!! I would demand a refund[emoji12]! We loved the Vision we sailed her to Hawaii a few years back. Spent lots of time in the solarium on the way to Canada. Are there soda machines? How was lunch in the WJ? Anything new on the menu. ( you know the important stuff lol) Have a wonderful safe cruise. Looking forward to your updates and pictures. Do you know who is the poolside band?[emoji267]

No soda machines! Look in Windjammer was insanely crowded and the selection was very different and kind of sparse. We are not picky eaters by any means but today it just wasn't hitting us. We ended up going to Park Cafe in the Solarium for lunch! The poolside bad is Hott Sands !
