zumbalover Posted March 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2015 We have an early flight on March 29 (11:30) and there are 7 ships in port that day including the Allure of the Seas. I have read on here that it is easy to take a taxi to Fort Lauderdale airport, but with 7 ships in port will they be plentiful? Are we better booking a guaranteed ride with GO shuttles (there are 4 adults) or will there be enough taxis? With an early international flight we want to make sure we get to the airport on time! JohninDC Posted March 11, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2015 Lots of cabs and you have lots of time -- from PE to FLL is only a 10+minute cab ride depending upon traffic (and should cost about $15 on the meter). You will likely be off your ship NLT 9:00 and at FLL before 9:30.
CruiserBruce Posted March 11, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 11, 2015 (edited) Lots and lots of taxis. And you are good on time. Given you have an international flight, I would do what it takes on the cruise line you are using to be off the ship as early as possible.
