Walk to 7 mile beach?

Has anyone ever walked from the ship to 7 mile beach?

 

We enjoy walking and I have always taken a cab or the bus to 7 mile beach.... it's not far....but I can't recall how far it is before you can actually get to the beach from the harbor/road area and then continue to actually walk on the beach.

It's not very far to the closest point of 7 Mile Beach....(it extends about 6 miles!)....but the closer to the port, the worse the beach.

yep, our goal is to just "walk up the beach" and it does look like the beach starts not far from the tender dock in George Town.

 

Our plan would be to just enjoy a "walk on the beach". I just don't want to walk far on the road nor do I want to be dodging harbor dock stuff.

Just over a mile and you will reach the beach.
