It is my favorite class. So much less crowded.

The week long LA crowd is much less of a party crowd than sailing out of east coast ports. Not sure if it is just more families. I was with my kids, but in the evenings they were off at 02 and I was essentially solo. I didn't really make friends on board until the last couple days.

Wierd, my week long crowd out of LA was much more a party than either of my east coast ones. I guess it is luck of the draw.

Just a note to let everyone know that the time changes mentioned in this review won't work the same starting tomorrow, April 5. The ship will make the same changes but the shore time will be off by one hour as Mexico starts Daylight Savings Time on April 5 this year.

Enjoy,

Ron

Could you tell me if they have the new menu amerucan table with this 2.0 or did they stay with the old one

The Miracle currently has the older menu not the American table sans tablecloths .

Your Review has me enthralled! I have been searching for pictures/videos of the Miracle all over the internet. Thank You for taking the time to show the newly improved Miracle ;-). The Deck looks like it was redone. It was looking beat-up in some videos I saw. One Question, In PV, if passengers are allowed to stay over night in PV what were some of the activities passengers chose to do. Did they rent rooms at resorts or did people just Barhop all nite? Also, what time do the clubs/bars close in PV. Also, is it possible to walk the beach at nite? We sail in 10 days and I am so thrilled to be on another Spirit Class ship. We sailed the Spirit a couple of years back and although there is no Dive-In Theater the size really seemed cozy, not over-run with passengers tripping over themselves, except the pool area, Ciao.

To all that were following this thread, I am sorry for not wrapping it up. I may finally finish in the next couple days. I was doing it on the computer I use for work and had a major problem losing data.

Obviously, I had to resolve the work data first, then my photos. Which has been done now. I was just about at the end anyways - so stay tuned and I will wrap it up.

Also stay tuned because I plan to have one for the Breeze where I am departing on 5/31. That may be a 'live from' review because I need to be online for work (!!!) anyways.

Sorry for the delay - see my other post.

Some people did get rooms downtown overnight. Several people spent the night out drinking at the clubs downtown. The terminal is very close to downtown, so I don't see the point of getting a hotel room.

They did resurface several areas of the decks, including Serenity. They also sanded and varnished the rails on the outside decks (during the cruise).

I absolutely love the Spirit class ships. They feel so much less crowded. I'll be on a Dream class ship for the first time in 10 days and I don't imagine I will like it as much. It will still be great Im sure, but just not that uncrowded feeling the Miracle offered.

Red Frog has draft beer. Not sure about the sports bar - if it doesnt, it is literally right next door to Red Frog so you could run over and grab one.

Thanks for the great review!

Really hoping to sail Miracle before she leaves Long Beach, and maybe take advantage of a special that was offered DH from the casino - which would mean sooner rather than later. :) Was actively looking for info on Miracle and your review was very helpful.

After the whale watching we headed over to Medano Beach to grab some lunch. We stopped at a place that had fantastic fish tacos last time we were here. Unfortunately the food didn’t arrive for 45 minutes and we had to cancel the order and leave to get the water taxi back to catch the tender back to the ship.

As I was climbing the “steps” to get onto the water taxi, a wave came from behind the boat and my foot slipped sideways on the step right into a sharp edge on the side cutting my foot wide open. This is the ladder folded onto the boat. You can see the triangle towards the top of the picture just to the right – perfect blade.

As you might imagine it felt incredibly lovely, what with the salt water and sand that got into the cut.

Once we got back near the tender dock, I grabbed a couple souvenirs from one of the shops and headed back towards the ship. I got a really interesting look from security when they saw my foot.

Once I got back to the cabin I cleaned the cut out – again a lovely feeling and actually got to use the first aid kit that I always bring but have never needed.

I am loving your review! I am heading there the beginning of October. Can you tell me the name of the restaurant that have the fish tacos? I know you missed eating them!

Thanks for the great review and awesome pics especially the sunset ones.

Thanks to offers to the DH and DS by the Casino we will be cruising on the Miracle during Christmas week and we can't wait.

Would you mind answering a few questions...:D

What company did you book through for the buggy/zipline excursion? I know this is something the DH and the DS (20) and his friend (21) would like.

Okay that was a question for the guys...now one for me but you might not know the answer...LOL! Do they have one of those $10 shops on the Miracle? You know the one where everything in the shop is $10? I buy stuff from them on every cruise that has one.

Thanks again for the review and pics...by the way...your sons look very handsome and debonair in their formal wear.:D

All the ships have a $10 store, including the Miracle.
