Blow up tub for infants/toddlers question

Traveling next month with my non-potty trained daughter. I've read numerous people take a blow up tub to the pool area to let their LO's play in the water. My question is how and where do you fill the tub up at the pool area? And my bigger question is where do you dump the water out when you're done??

Either bring a small bucket or get one from the bar. Fill with pool water. Empty into the shower drain.

Yes...an ice bucket or "beer bucket" will work. You don't need to fill it...a couple inches will allow "splashing"....and a floor or shower drain is where you empty it!

We just did this on carnival.. They have showers everywhere so we filled and drained it in the shower

If you use the shower you will avoid chlorine that may be tough on your little ones skin.

To be honest.. I didn't notice the chlorine at all... What we noticed was that it was salt water..

Will your kid care? Under 2 isn't likely to even know there's pools.

 

I thought the slides would cause an issue for my kid, nope, she never cared.

 

Disney had splash area, so we were find on her first cruise. But while she had fun, I don't think she'd notice if she didn't get to play in the water. She didn't want in the pool. In fact, on her second, she spent more time in the splash area than in the pool (yes, potty trained), cause big kids.
