Ceepot Posted April 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Do SB still sent these out? I am talking about the brown wallet with luggage labels. I haven't received anything and wonder if they do them anymore, before I chase up my TA. Many thanks
Maineac Posted April 9, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2015 We received our "brown wallet and luggage tags" two days ago.
lincslady Posted April 9, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Yes they do, and I am sure you should have had yours by now, so definitely chase it up, as it seems to be only about 15 days to your sail date. They normally arrive in my experience at least 3 weeks before, though I think SB would say 2 is the norm.
rachelfran Posted April 9, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 9, 2015 I am leaving for vacation 3 weeks before my cruise - if I let seabourn know, do you think they'd send my package earlier? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Capri73 Posted April 9, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Mine arrived 2 weeks ago and we leave in 1 month.
Ceepot Posted April 9, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Thank you all. I will chase it up. There's nothing vital in there as far as I recall, but it would still be nice to have.
lincslady Posted April 9, 2015 #7 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Well, maybe not vital, but should contain your 'cruise ticket' to hand in, as well as the luggage labels, both the large sticky ones and small ones in a pleather holder, which are very helpful as you board. Do contact your TA to ask for them to be sent ASAP.
Mr Luxury Posted April 9, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 9, 2015 The only important parts are the sticky luggage labels that are self adhesive and let the luggage handlers know which suite to deliver the bags to. The brown luggage tags are made in China and smell badly of cheap plastic. I throw them away and use the tags that have been on our cases for many years. lincslady Posted April 10, 2015 #9 Share Posted April 10, 2015 I have to say I do think the cruise ticket you hand in to get on board or when you have boarded , in a cream 'booklet' is if not actually vital certainly a big help in making sure the staff you know are legit! ALL the luggage labels are useful, whether in a lovely leather holder or just the SB one but certainly the sticky ones are the most useful. lincslady Posted April 10, 2015 #10 Share Posted April 10, 2015 BTW, ceepot, do post to say when it arrives!
Emperor Norton Posted April 28, 2015 #11 Share Posted April 28, 2015 Well, maybe not vital, but should contain your 'cruise ticket' to hand in, as well as the luggage labels, both the large sticky ones and small ones in a pleather holder, which are very helpful as you board. Do contact your TA to ask for them to be sent ASAP. I leave that waste of space at home. It's far easier to print the single signature page and bring that with me than the whole booklet. Bostonactor Posted April 29, 2015 #12 Share Posted April 29, 2015 If you don't receive the packet before you depart, you can print your e-ticket from the SB website. Of course, you won't have the luggage tags with your suite number, but they will manage to get the luggage to you.
