justluv2cruisewithhubby Posted April 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2015 Is it possible to make specialty dining reservations online without having to pay with a credit card? I have OBC that I wanted to use for dining however there does not seem to be an option when making my dining reservations. Any thoughts/suggestions? molly361 Posted April 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2015 (edited) No ,in order to use OBC you must wait until onboard to make your reservation. If you make it ahead of time you will need to pay for it at that time. Edited April 12, 2015 by molly361

There is usually a discount if you book on the first day of the cruise and they hold back tables for reservations for onboard bookings so if you make your reservation when you first get on the ship then you should be fine. They usually have a reservation table set up outside of the Windjammer.
cb at sea Posted April 12, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2015 Just wait until you're on the ship. They rarely, if ever, are full.

Holly2 Posted April 13, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 13, 2015 Pretty sure you cancel without penalty 24 hrs in advance. If you are concerned And don't mind tbe hassle, you could make a reserv using Credit card, cancel, and then rebook same time using OBC. I have same dilemma and am just going to wait. If you cancel onboard it just adds to oBC, it doesn't go back on cc unless you cancel prior to sailing.
