GUT2407 Posted April 15, 2015 #26 Share Posted April 15, 2015 My wife says, how about a cruise. But then I'm an addict. And she knows how to get me to do anything she wants anyway, smile sweetly and say pleeeeeeeeease honey.
DirtyDawg Posted April 15, 2015 #27 Share Posted April 15, 2015 (edited) My wife says, how about a cruise. But then I'm an addict. Next time she says; "how about a cruise." you say; "how about a new set of clubs" or "how about a new work bench" or "how about a new ultra deluxe BBQ with built in beer fridge and remote hood opener". C'mon brother - work it.:p Edited April 15, 2015 by DirtyDawg

Now a new lens :D:D:D:D, but I'd then need a cruise to give it a workout.

Theredofshaw Posted April 16, 2015 #31 Share Posted April 16, 2015 could you do a combination? you say he wants a long land vacation, maybe ya'll could compromise and do a week of land followed by a 5-7 day at sea?
cruznjan Posted April 16, 2015 #32 Share Posted April 16, 2015 My father-in-law did not want to cruise. His frame of reference was World War II troop transport ships. When mother-in-law, my husband and I want to cruise to Bermuda, he reluctantly went along with the majority. He was hooked, and went on several cruises afterwards. live2vayk Posted April 16, 2015 #35 Share Posted April 16, 2015 My Heavens! So much work to get some hubbys to cruise. Mine goes sometimes, but if he doesn't want to, I go with friends and leave him home. Problem solved, and we are both happy! :D
