the moment FTTF became worth it...

Yup! Had it several years ago when it just came out on my first cruise. Three of us ladies in a cabin, very little carried on bc our luggage was being fast tracked. Short wait at CS desk the four times we needed it. So convenient. Some say its a waste...so is heavy drinking and gambling (my opinion only) but you don't see people saying not to drink or gamble.

On my last 2 cruises, I won enough money in the casino on the last night to pay off my S&S balance. Not everyone is in line to remove the tips. I can't imagine doing that.

It was definitely nice not to wait in that line.

Nope, not just your opinion. My husband and I don't drink at all, so we would both agree with you. When I think of all the money we'll save by not spending it on alcohol and in the casinos, well, I can use that money towards another cruise! [emoji4]

I like FTTF. DW and I have purchased it on every CCL cruise we have taken since it was first offered a couple of years ago. On our next cruise, we have it again. Now, on the one following, we won't need it, because we will move to "Platinum Cruisers". I am looking forward to free "wash and fold" laundry (not included in FTTF) so we will not have to pack so many garments on our "Carnival Journey" cruises which we enjoy so much.

Hey, I think I have an idea. If you like the perks of FTTF, purchase it. If you think it isn't worth it, don't purchase it.

Do you think this might work?

I feel the same way about Cheers. I don't purchase it and I don't complain that others do. I like FTTF so I purchase that instead...to each their own.

Lemme see Alex, I'll take FTTF for $60...

I'd do this in a heartbeat if we weren't frequent cruisers. Here's why.

We have been on a dozen 5 night cruises on two lines from Galveston. The thing is, a 5 night cruise is really a 4 day trip if you arrive late. We love being aboard before noon.

Arriving early gets our luggage there quickly, we can see where the dining table is, check for anything that might be wrong and just explore the ship. In the 7 times we've sailed the Triumph we still walk around each deck once done with lunch.

Then we find a place in the shade, linger over a snack and people watch. In less than an hour our luggage is there and we are unpacked and ready to sail away by 12:45-1:00pm.

We have friends that also live close to the port and they arrive after 2pm, sometimes after 3. That's their gig, and we meet up after they board or at dinner.

I don't get the $100 per day for Disney. Years ago when our daughter was little I did.

Whatever floats your boat...

We used FTTF on one cruise, and it was definitely worth it. We always arrive early, before boarding begins. Walking on in the first group is very nice, especially with the lack of lines for the buffet. It's really nice to be able to drop your stuff in your cabin and have your bags already there before noon. I end up needing guest services' help about once per cruise on average, and it's nice to walk right up without a line. Lastly, it's really nice to walk off immediately when the ship is cleared and stroll right through immigration and over to the car, doubly nice when we return to Tampa on a weekday and plan to head to work for the day. When returning to Miami, Fort lauderdale, or Port Canaveral we can be home before lunch.

If we hadn't become Platinum (rendering FTTF's benefits redundant), I'd be buying it for every single cruise.

Your reason for not purchasing it is exactly my thought on this thread. I didn't post against it or for it; I just wanted to point out it is a personal choice not forced on anyone so the previous arguing the point from each side seems pointless. Who's to say which choice is right or wrong? Whatever floats anyone's individual boat is the point. :)
