Ever participate in a group slot pull?

Have participated many times. Never once won big money. We did cash out once $3 up.:rolleyes:

Yes, and it is lots of fun. I think one was for $15.00 for 3 pulls on a $5.00 machine. We had a BALL..... I think we broke even but the fun was priceless. Go for it. That was the only money I spent in the casino.

Did one recently. We each paid $15.00, got 5 pulls, and everybody came out ahead $1.00!

I have done a few of these and once we were ahead a few dollars, but decided to play off the money, so we eventually ended up with zip. One time we ended up with $11 or so. No time did we win big bucks, but it was fun cheering everyone on.

This should be under general cruise discussions as this can pertain to any line with a casino, and they can possibly receive more pertinent information.

How about this: While I'm not the OP, I'd like to know how the payout has been on a slot pull done on a Carnival ship. It's possible the slot payouts are different across the different brands, right? I don't care if someone's won big on RC, since I only cruise Carnival, and I don't want to wade through a bunch of posts for different brands, since I'm looking for something more Carnival specific.

I agree that slot pulls can be a lot of fun. It's also great for getting to know your fellow CC members. I've only been in one (on a Celebrity ship) and the casino gave us lots of prizes to distribute so even though we didn't make any money on the slots, many of us came out ahead.

 

FWIW - I don't have problem with this being on the Carnival board. It's cruise related, no matter what line. Have fun before, during and after your cruise!

I for one hate slot machines. They are the dumbest why to loose your money ever invented......... OK, maybe second behind Ponzi schemes.;):p:D

It makes no odds who picks the machines. They're all run on probability, and the probability favours the house. They don't put different wheels in different machines to make some of them profitable for the punter and some guaranteed losers.

A group pools their money into one machine. Everyone takes a turn at the machine.

Winnings are divided after the last pull. Lots of cheering goes on. Generally, the one with the largest win gets a bonus.
