Things that remind you of the cruise experience

I was with my grandson the other day at the mall. We went to a movie, then I gave him some walk around time at the mall. I grabbed a chair in the mail and was reading my kindle when all of a sudden it hit me that this gave me the feeling of being on the Navigator of the Seas Royal Promenade <shopping and entertainment area>. Was fun having that flashback feeling.

 

What do you do to get the "cruise vibe" flowing?

Recently, I've found heading out to the deck with a martini in hand makes me feel all warm and cruise-ish. :)

Our friends who live at the beach are "boat people".

Looking out when I can see no land with a drink in hand makes me have that special cruise feeling. :cool:

Sitting in the hot tub and feeling the wind blow... i just close my eyes and think about being on a cruise. Of course, my hot tub is actually hot lol....

Food does it for me. I like to make dessert soufflés, which we had on our first cruise.

We took the kids out for lunch at a nice restaurant on the weekend. It reminded me our our cruise in December. Happy memories! :D

We live near San Francisco Bay, we walk daily on a bay walk area... just being near the water reminds us, some days the waves are splashing too, so we have both the sight and sounds of being on the water... cruising for us is relazing - part of that is being on the water.

Restaurants, where the waiters wear white jackets, remind me of the MDR.
