Emerald refurbished ?

We are considering a cruise on the Emerald for spring 2016. Does anyone know if she has been or will be refurbished?

We are considering a cruise on the Emerald for spring 2016. Does anyone know if she has been or will be refurbished?

November 30 -- December 13, 2015. Minor refreshing, i.e., standard, regular dry dock. Ships aren't normally refurbished for years but every 2-3 years, they go into dry dock for maintenance. The ship hull is scraped and re-painted, the propellers checked and polished, the thrusters checked and cleaned, stabilizers checked, engines maintained, electronics updated, etc. There'll be very little visible to passengers. Strictly routine, kind of like taking your car in for an oil change, fluids topped up and the car detailed. Edited May 29, 2015 by Pam in CA

She had the flat screens when I was on her last Oct/November.

There is no ondemand system at the moment on the Emerald, sailing her at the moment

They pretty much all have the flat screens. Not sure about any updates on the small ships.

That does not mean the system has been upgraded yet.
