buffery Posted June 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2015 I am considering booking on Q Mary to the Caribbean in December 2016 Comparing it with P &O which is cheaper is it worth paying extra ?
Host Hattie Posted June 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2015 That is a really difficult question to answer, this recent thread has some opinions which may help Cunard V P&O The other thing to consider is itinerary, the QM2 trip will be via New York where the P&O trip will probably be a more southerly route. PORT ROYAL Posted June 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 3, 2015 (edited) I am considering booking on Q Mary to the Caribbean in December 2016Comparing it with P &O which is cheaper is it worth paying extra ? Without a doubt a yes! If you take a P&O Christmas Cruise, after two days it may evidence the making of a wrong decision. ;) We know, we made the same decision solely on price. Never again! Cunard every time :D Edited June 3, 2015 by PORT ROYAL

It's a no brainer ! P & O = P oor & O rdinary :) Polls apart ! that's why you are paying extra, you only get what you pay for. If you want to be on ship full of moaning Brits then go for it. cruiseluvva Posted June 3, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 3, 2015 P&O is not necessarily cheaper either. We booked a QG entry level suite to the Black Sea last year - 24 nights. Aurora was calling at almost identical ports, almost the same dates, also 24 nights, but her entry level suite was £1,000 MORE than the Q6. Absolutely NO COMPARISON? Underwatr Posted June 3, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 3, 2015 Just a warning, one Christmas on QM2 has a way of turning into two, which has a way of turning into three... (look at my cruise history.)
moldgirl Posted June 3, 2015 #8 Share Posted June 3, 2015 We tried P&O last year, no madam was the response to reasonable requests every time! Never again!
