BigB0882 Posted June 4, 2015 #8 Share Posted June 4, 2015 That's a great offer! My husband has a premier cruise offer and it comes with $400 casino cash but all of the sailings are during the school year and we can't go. We will have to wait and take advantage of those premier cruises once we retire.

mediccruzin Posted June 4, 2015 #11 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Only offer I've ever had was for the fall. That won't work as my wife is a school teacher and we can only cruise in the summer.
Frank12 Posted June 4, 2015 #12 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Nothing in my offers....but we're going on a free one on Victory in 2 weeks. $50.00 per person to book plus $100.00 OBC so price = $0.00. Just have to pay port fees and taxes. Plus, even though it is free, they are still honoring our shareholder credit benefit, so they are paying us to cruise!! :D
JGlennCruiser Posted June 4, 2015 #13 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Rule of thumb seems to be if you have a cruise already booked you almost never see an offer that others without booked cruises will see.
cjankowski Posted June 4, 2015 #14 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Bummer for me, nothing in my offers either. We totally missed a casino deal a couple of weeks ago, mostly because my boss said I could not take the time off that I requested :( Our busy season at work. gupebreedr Posted June 4, 2015 #15 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Rule of thumb seems to be if you have a cruise already booked you almost never see an offer that others without booked cruises will see. I recently had to change a reservation and was talking to the reservation agent at Carnival for quite awhile. She told me that there was an offer for me but it could not be extended to me as I already had two cruises booked. So I would have to agree with the above stated quote. Island2Girl Posted June 5, 2015 #19 Share Posted June 5, 2015 I did! Looking at the itineraries and wondering..do we...don't we...do we....we have never taken a cruise longer than 7 days. The deal won't be $200 or even free but it is fabulous! 13 days mexico, extended balcony for $1600 total. If anyone know a way to reduce that, please be kind and let me know! We haven't had a Carnival cruise booked in about 3 years and never get offers like these. My wife, son, and myself are all platinum too so who knows how they do this stuff. My wife and son get the occasional offer but my offers usually say, "no new offers available at this time." I'm the one who always books too not them. Bill
Davey Wavey Posted June 5, 2015 #21 Share Posted June 5, 2015 No offers for either my husband or I. Again. Our offers page is always blank. Probably because they read your signature and know you aren't loyal. :D
honestguy Posted June 5, 2015 #22 Share Posted June 5, 2015 My PVP called me with this offer on Monday. I couldn't believe it. I'm going through a divorce, and with no wife, its hard to cruise. This made it easy. Total price was 356, with taxes the 150 for the stateroom, and 49 bucks for the insurance. Plus I get the 150 back as a credit. so 206 bucks for a single to sail for 11 days. I'll take that. Oh my PVP found me a J4 cabin. Its all the way forward, and comes with a window, but its considered a inside. Never cruised solo. I think it will be fine. I know I can sit at the poker table for as long as I want lol As for these deals I wonder if your spending history plays any part on people getting the deals. On my last cruise my i spent 1500 for two people for 5 days. I don't drink much in my daily life, but when on vacation. I drink a good bit. I will be buying the drink package
DebJ14 Posted June 5, 2015 #23 Share Posted June 5, 2015 No offers for DH or myself. I guess they figure that since we are Diamond and Platinum they don't need to offer anything to entice us.
