Using ships Internet on mobile device

I will be taking my iPad on my next cruise and want to use the Internet. it is WiFi only so I don't have to worry about it connecting if I don't want it to but once I have finished using it should I disconnect so the minutes I buy are only being used when I am actually online. Hope this makes sense and yes I know it will be slow. Thanks

You will purchase a wifi plan to access the internet and you will be assigned a user name and password. Yes, you will want to log off after you are finished because otherwise the minutes will continue to be charged to your account.
