Exploring Grand Cayman alone

We're stopping in Grand Cayman the week after next and have always wanted to visit. We're not interested in any of the 'activities', but would rather just see the island itself - should we just take one of the trolley tours or is it better to rent a car ourselves for the day? My husband has driven on the 'wrong side' before so that's not really a problem :D

Where do you want to go?

If you want to travel outside of town, say to East End or Rum Point, then yes you need a rental car or a booked excursion. If you just want to go to Seven Mile Beach, maybe the turtle farm, hell, etc. then you could easily bus or taxi.
