We will be docking at Aloha Tower area and want to visit the Punchbowl. We would like to know if this is walking distance from the dock?

I think it's about a mile and half. Uphill. And then the cemetery itself is quite large.

I wouldn't do it. the entire grounds are very large and to get to the monument it's a bit of a hike. the Bus system is decent in Honolulu if you don't want to cab it.

Google search the Punchbowl Cemetery and see the photos as it appears today. I had seen photos prior to the white crosses being removed, so was quite disappointed when we arrive at the Cemetery and found in-ground tablets instead. Just doesn't give the same somberness as looking at a field of crosses. JMHO
