Langley Cruisers Posted July 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2015 A few months ago, we enjoyed our very first Celebrity cruise aboard beautiful Solstice. We absolutely loved the made-to-order Eggs Benedict at breakfast and the bountiful ice cream bar complete with toppings, for dessert in the buffet. My question is, are these items available on every, or on most ships? Funny how a little thing like this can make you feel... like we really enjoyed this... :D:D:D . CathyCruises Posted July 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2015 All S Class ships that I've ever been on are almost identical, can't remember back to M class days!
Northern Aurora Posted July 19, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 19, 2015 The M-class ships also feature the made-to-order Eggs Benedict and the ice cream assortment (with toppings) in the buffet.
Grandmaanne7 Posted July 19, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2015 They were all available on Century as well. I guess it's a fleet-wide thing (which makes me happy because everything was yummy :))

phoenix_dream Posted July 20, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 20, 2015 But should add that the M class buffets generally leave a lot to be desired as compared to the S class buffets IMHO. Overall fewer options, less convenient to use, etc.. But within a class (M or S) the buffets are very similar with very similar offerings.
TeaBag Posted July 21, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 21, 2015 DH loves Eggs Benedict and has enjoyed many on various Celebrity cruises. He went recently on Eclipse and ordered them. They came cold on untoasted muffin. He said they were the worst EB he has ever had and never went back. Could be that the guy making them had no idea of what they were. He needed to change his attitude also. Maitre'D was consulted and offered to make a new one.
Maligator Posted July 21, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 21, 2015 It's worth pointing out that Summit may have some variations, as she is often used to test out new concepts before fleetwide roll-out.
GUT2407 Posted July 21, 2015 #9 Share Posted July 21, 2015 Only been on Century with Celebrity, but had eggs benny most days and home made ice cream every day.

Cool! We'll be sailing her next month. I read that in the buffet they now have small containers of food in the buffet rather than serving yourself from a large tray. Is that indeed the case? I read that in the buffet they now have small containers of food in the buffet rather than serving yourself from a large tray. Is that indeed the case? I recall it was that way for desserts and some stations had a server spoon your food. But there was still quite a bit where you'd use a spoon or tongs to serve yourself. I remember, because I was constantly having to go around the steel bars for the sneeze guard.
