Lanyards for Sign & Sail Cards

I like the ones from the gift shop better than the plastic stretchy ones from the casino. They cost about $5.00 but you can use them over and over. I like the fact that the part where you attach your S&S card can be unclipped from the lanyard to hand to a bartender or gift shop employee. They come in red and blue.

The free ones are up at the casino and work just fine.

The S & S cards usually have the holes in em already

I sailed Carnival 10 times last year, and never were there any holes in the cards. Dream, Conquest, Miracle, Splendor, Glory. and Freedom and Legend this year.

They also have them in the photo area for free with purchase of a photo. We got 2 of them in June, have the metal clip and plastic sleeve attached. We just removed plastic sleeve and attached clip through hole in S&S card and wore it around our neck. Plan to take them on the next cruise, worked great (free). Also noticed our S&S cards already had the hole punched in them when we boarded the Glory. Anybody know if this is fleet wide?

It may be that not all embarkation ports are doing this yet. We sailed on the Breeze this past May out of Miami, and when we got our S&S cards, they were already punched.

I bought a nice black leather lanyard/card holder from Walmart. Clear plastic front for s&s card and slots in back for card used for safe, ID or CC when at port. Less than $10 and have used it for last 4 cruises.

This type of detachable strap lanyard works great also and you can re-use them for future trips. It is easy to quickly to use your card to open the door to your cabin or to hand it to the staff to scan when getting off at ports. We just ask the casino staff to punch a hole in our card when we board.

The stretchy ones from the casino are also nice because they've got a clip on one end. It's useful if you like to clip it to your belt loop and put the card in a pocket.

I take off the coil and attach it to my belt loop.

Just off sunshine and our cards were hole punched when they handed them to us. Other people I met onboard said they had to go to guest services/casino to get their cards hole punched. Not sure why some get it and not others.

That's weird. We did a B2B on the Breeze in May and our cards were not punched.

We are platinum and our cards have never been punched.

It seems like something they are just starting to do. If you look at the cards that John Heald has posted recently on his FB page, they have all been prepunched as of late.

Not a bad idea. It saves the casino cashiers and GR people from having to punch 500 holes.

We have not yet received a card with a hole already in it. May be because some passengers have no need for it.

It could be the blank card stock Carnival is now purchasing has the hole already in it.

We have had a hole punched into our cards in the casino and t guest services. Sometimes it is round and others it is an oval.
