Booking in USD, CAD or AUD

Booking in USD, AUD or CAD.

So for a variety of reasons we haven't booked our upcoming cruise, but have however booked our flights.

We are now past final payment, so I'm able to watch for price drops.

Today I noticed another big price drop of $200USD pp for a balcony guarantee.

However when I compare rates I get the following.

AUD-$2700(includes gratuities)

USD-$1507 ($2035aud)

CAD- $1776 ($1850AUd)

So it seems that it would be best to book through the Canadian site, has anyone done this?

The other option is to try and book through a US based agency that may add oBC or gratuities.

Either way, although we won't get the alcohol package, by waiting we have been able to save enough that will offset buying the alcohol package on board.

PS there are still quiet a few cabins available in all categories. So I'm even thinking to hold off another week and see if they drop further.

Ot they could go up in price. That happened to me while waiting for DH to determine whether he could fit it in between commitments. Prices went up by $400pp. It's a complete gamble.

Can't help you with the Canadian TA question though.

Have you tried a dummy run with the Canadian agency to see if it is even possible.

Mic, it's just the celebrity site and I changed the country to Canada (I usually just change to US) I assume if you can book on the celebrity US site, you should potentially be able to book on the Canadian site, I might call them tomorrow.

I hoped that someone may have don't it previously!

I would be interested to hear how you do the Celebrity US site booking. I thought you could book but when you try to pay you need a US address cc. But i may well be wrong ...might have been RCI i tried a while back....cant 100% remember what site it was ...but love to know how you go.

hope you pick up a great deal :)
