milliesimmons Posted July 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Has anybody been on the cruise for the Christmas and new year period and can tell me what the weather is like that time of year?
love my grandkids Posted July 29, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2015 typically about 75 to 80 in the caribbean and not further north like bahamas where it can be colder. We always find it as nice beach weather
loubetti Posted July 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2015 It all depends on where you are going in the Caribbean. However, 80° is a reasonable, average, daytime expectation.
riclop Posted July 29, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2015 The further south you go the better 80-85, it's a good time of the year.

milliesimmons Posted July 29, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Why are people so shocked that we are going to Havana?
Rare LHT28 Posted July 29, 2015 #9 Share Posted July 29, 2015 (edited) Why are people so shocked that we are going to Havana? Because US citizens have not been allowed to go to Cuba unless for humanitarian reasons Edited July 29, 2015 by LHT28
sail7seas Posted July 29, 2015 #10 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Weather in the Caribbean is about the same all year. It gets more humid late spring and summer but anything south of the Bahamas should be summer weather all year. No one can promise whether you'll have rain. ;) We sailed Christmas and New Years cruises many times and always loved being in the Caribbean warmth. Floridiana Posted July 29, 2015 #11 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Havana will probably the coolest spot on this cruise, similar to Key West in the US.
