Hot Chilli Posted August 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2015 One of our roll call members noticed our cruise is no longer showing on the Celebrity website. Just curious to get to the bottom of why. If it has been sold out would it disappear or would it stay online but show 'sold out' or 'contact cruise line'. Hot Chilli Posted August 16, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted August 16, 2015 it shows up as completely sold out. That is interesting. It has completely disappeared when I look for it (located in Australia but looking at the .com website, not our local one). And other cruises that are Sold Out (such as a Japan cruise) actually say 'Sold Out'.
newport dave Posted August 16, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 16, 2015 We've had the same problem with our cruise on the Millennium next October 2016. One of the roll call contacted Celebrity to enquire, they stated it was so they could sort out all the 'Guarantees' because it was selling out so fast, they didn't want to oversell. Once they've sorted it all, it will re-appear on the Celebrity website.

4774Papa Posted August 17, 2015 #8 Share Posted August 17, 2015 It could be that it was chartered. That happened to our Around Japan cruise for Sept 2016. We finally were told about the cancellation and given options to transfer to another cruise.

Susie Cruise2 Posted August 17, 2015 #10 Share Posted August 17, 2015 I have been watching this cruise as we would like to join it. We have a reservation on the 03rd of January sailing but think we prefer the 17th. Hope it comes back on for sale.
roygg Posted August 17, 2015 #11 Share Posted August 17, 2015 I have been watching this cruise as we would like to join it. We have a reservation on the 03rd of January sailing but think we prefer the 17th. Hope it comes back on for sale. I have contacted Celebrity UK. Who state that there is no availability at the moment. If there was to be any change in routing, we would be contacted. I think, MAYBE AS IT GETS CLOSER TO FINAL PAYMENT, some availabilty may arise. Susie Cruise2 Posted August 18, 2015 #12 Share Posted August 18, 2015 (edited) Thanks for letting us know what Celebrity are saying about this sector. Hoping like you it will come back on but not sure how the pricing will be. Will keep an eye on it.
