Shmoo here Posted August 24, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2015 For brunch? Well, my vote would be Palo. I love it. But I've never done Remy (doubt if I will, at those prices).
Karen Lynn Posted August 24, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted August 24, 2015 I hear you...I've only done Palo also
DaKa2002 Posted August 24, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2015 We really like the Remy Champagne Brunch; have never done a Palo brunch. We have done both Remy and Palo for dinners on the Dream and Fantasy, and years ago did Palo on both the Magic and Wonder.
CELTICGIRLCRUISER Posted August 24, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2015 (edited) We have done both, brunches (and dinner) and I would choose Remy. Edited August 24, 2015 by CELTICGIRLCRUISER
DaKa2002 Posted August 24, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 24, 2015 Opps, I forgot to add that we will try our first Palo brunch on the Wonder in November of this year. (There is no Remy on the Wonder - drat!)
jalves Posted August 24, 2015 #7 Share Posted August 24, 2015 For brunch? Easy question, the answer is either Yes or both
Maddysdaddy Posted August 25, 2015 #8 Share Posted August 25, 2015 We have done both, brunches (and dinner) and I would choose Remy. My wife and I have done both as well, and there really isn't a wrong decision to be made. It really depends what type of experience you are looking for - at Palo, you will have an all-you-can-eat Italian style brunch (food quality is fairly good), whereas Remy is a plated brunch with what we thought was fantastic food. If you can swing it, my recommendation would be Remy. There is little at Palo that you likely haven't had a million times before, whereas Remy provided new and interesting tastes (at least for us). And if you can 'really' swing it, the champagne pairings at the Remy brunch really added to the experience for us.
1drifter Posted August 26, 2015 #9 Share Posted August 26, 2015 We prefer Palo--and we prefer brunch to dinner. But we are vegetarian, and that might affect our decision. Remy did prepare a vegetarian brunch for us, but we like the variety at Palo.
