Miami to Ft. Lauderdale port

I have searched but cannot find a company that will transfer from Miami hotel or airport to the Ft. Lauderdale port. Does anyone know a company that will? Also return from Ft. Lauderdale port to airport in Miami? Thanks

From the MIA airport you have options in addition to those listed above:

* a one way rental car will give you flex to stay, shop and dine where you want

* the Tri-Rail train to the FLL station (for under $5 each) and then a $15 cab will get you to PE, as long as you are not in a hurry and can handle your own bags.

* Super Shuttle and American Shuttle will take you from MIA and offer on line reservations

 

From either the airport or downtown hotels a taxi to FLL/PE should run about $75-80+ on the meter +tip.

Thanks. I did look at renting a car but since we would do a 12:30 flight I thought it would take too long on the way back. If it ends up being just my hubby and kids we could do the rail or rental car and stay in Ft. Lauderdale. I like that idea so we are close to the port and I have a hotel I like to use there . But with a tight flight I feel like a waiting ride is the only safe way to go.

Has anyone on the boards actually taken the tri rail from Miami Airport to Fort Lauderdale. We are staying at the Homewood Suites in Dania. It is right across the street from the Tri rail station in Ft. Lauderdale. I was just wondering.....:confused:
