Getting around Miami

We are flying a couple of days early prior to our next cruise and staying at a hotel downtown. There are several sites we want to visit but do not want to rent a car (cost of hotel parking ). We used Uber recently on a vacation in DC and we were very happy with their services. I have read in a few places that there is an issue with Uber in Florida. Is Uber still servicing Miami or should I look at cabs as needed?

There is no issue with Uber in Miami. It is currently not in Fort Lauderdale.

In fact, Uber just leased 10,000 square feet of office space in downtown Miami.

And they'll be back this month in Fort Lauderdale.
