Niffernay Posted October 28, 2015 #102 Share Posted October 28, 2015 Hands down, this is still the best sign I've ever run across: Headed to the printer to make one of these right now. :D
leekel619 Posted October 29, 2015 #103 Share Posted October 29, 2015 Good idea. Or, if you can't stand to give one up, bring it with you when you go for lunch. [emoji41]
MrsPhoenix91 Posted October 29, 2015 #104 Share Posted October 29, 2015 Hands down, this is still the best sign I've ever run across: You are right - that is a real nice sign! And if after 30 minutes Sierra and Jason hadn't returned, that sign will look even nicer on the ground when the chairs are taken :D
LrgPizza Posted November 2, 2015 #105 Share Posted November 2, 2015 Currently on the Escape. According to the Freestyle Daily (which is identical to what I remembered from previous cruises), "If any chair is left unattended for longer than 60 minutes, the items will be removed and handed in at the guest services desk." You guys can continue to say 30 minutes all you want, but that isn't NCL's policy. If you expect chair hogs to follow the rules, then those who want to remove things after 30 minutes should follow them, too.

I seem to recall there were signs saying 45 minutes on the Gem so this may vary from ship to ship (in any event one should be sure of what the policy is before taking action). MrMan Posted November 2, 2015 #107 Share Posted November 2, 2015 On HAL if you book a Lani room that opens on the Promenade you get a private lounge chair. Found it very nice. I for one would be willing to pay say $50/sailing for a reserved private poolside or deck chair. That would be an add-on I would gladly pay.
