Reflection Suite GTY - any BAD suites?

We're making our first Celebrity cruise this Christmas, on a Suite GTY. I understand we take what we get, and assume that will be a sky suite, which is fine. This is going to be interesting for us; we're usually very careful about picking our suites and letting Celebrity assign us to whatever they have left over isn't easy.

Can any Reflection suite experts tell me if there are any BAD suite locations to try and avoid if we can? Noisy ones or obstructed views, things like that?

For us it would be a sky suite on deck 12. These are under the Oceanview Cafe and possibly the pool. Could hear chairs and other things moving around. Also do not like the feel of the full balcony coverage and possible support beams.

Once assigned a suite you are free to change to any other available suite in that category. We were once stuck under the Oceanview in an S2 and quickly moved to Deck 11 Suite 1669 and it has become our favorite sky suite ever! It is on the aft with no support bar. So, if you do get assigned something you do not like...get on the phone quickly and see what else is left.

Good luck

Thanks! We're waiting to see how soon we get an assigned cabin.

I would agree with that. Better than most other cabins, but we prefer not to be under public space or the big overhang.

You may get lucky and not get a SS, it does happen!

Happy sailing,

Jenna

There are 84 Sky Suites on the Reflection - 70 of them are on Deck 12 so odds are pretty high that you will get one on Deck 12.

We have friends who sail regularly in Sky Suites on Deck 12 and they say all the ones they have had were just fine. We were in a suite under the pool area on Royal, we only heard noise for a about 15 minutes when they were putting out decks chairs.

Hope you get a great Suite.
