Just back from Alaska on the Princess

I just want to say thanks to all the info on this board. We had fantastic weather on our ports and the new camera I bought was worth the $$. I realize now even if I bought it 6 months ago, I would still be struggling with my pictures. The point and shoot is just what I needed and got wonderful memories.

 

I wasn't a person who liked cruising -- but on this ship my opinion has changed. I even feel a bit down this week because I'm back to normal.

 

Thanks everyone for asking the important questions and making rethink what I was taking with me. Didn't need raincoats....or umbrellas ... but glad I packed them anyway.

I see you live in the San Francisco area. Did you do the Alaskan cruise out of San Francisco? We are thinking of booking grand princess out of San Fran next July.

Were you on the Coral? We just got back from NB from Vancouver and the weather was AMAZING. Especially because everyone warned us about how chilly and rainy it would be.
