First seating dining question

Booked a cruise with another couple. I am more of an Anytime Dining guy, but selected early dining to sit with friends. Friends are booked early dining as well. How doe we get a 4 top together and not seated randomly?

If you booked through a TA, have them link the bookings. If you went through Princess, contact them. No problem.

Best way is to get your friends booking number then phone Princess and ask them to link your bookings. If you check in together look on your cabin key card where it states your table number. If the numbers are the same then go to the dining room and check out the table size. If it all screws up then go and see the maître d , you will be able to find him/her mentioned on the Patter news sheet you will find in your cabin.

As others have posted, make sure your bookings are linked. Ask your travel agent to do it if you booked through one. Otherwise, call Princess. You will need the names and booking numbers of both cabins.

If your bookings are linked and you are both confirmed for the same early seating, then you will be assigned to the same table. If by any chance you are not, the maître d' will change that on board - but it is not likely that will be needed.

Double check that you are assigned to the same seating. On most ships, there are early seatings - one at 6:00 pm in the traditional dining room and one at 5:30 pm in a dining room that will convert to anytime after the first seating. Check your bookings to make sure you are both at the same time.

You should also make sure you each have a table for four requested. However, the table size is not guaranteed. Although they will assign you to the same table, it may be a table for six or eight with one or two other couples. You can go to the dining room to check the size of your table number. If you are assigned a table of six or eight and you want a table of four, you may ask the maître d' to change you, but there is no guarantee that will happen.
