Venture to Xcaret?

Just starting to do some research on things to do in Cozumel with a 21 and 19 year old kids. DH and I have been to Xcaret Eco park (15 yrs ago) and had a blast...anyone do the excursion there lately?

 

There a lots of great suggestions and we have plenty of time to plan (Dec 2016).

We returned after having been there for our honeymoon. We had a lot of fun, but it's a long travel day. What are your hours in port?

If your ship has an excursion to Xcaret or Xel-Ha, that would be the better way to go. Probably a bit more expensive in total but less stressful than having to keep an eye on the time and converting return taxi and ferry schedules to ship's time if different from Coz time. Just be aware that to really enjoy the activities available at either park takes longer than the time you'll have.

 

Otherwise, just head for Mr. Sanchos or Paradise Beach. Lots of water toys and activities to keep young adults occupied, including other young adults:D

I would skip the travel and expense of getting to/from the mainland and -- especially with a 19 & 21 year old -- head to Mr. Sanchos; AI for about $50 each, good service, water toys (extra $$), lively atmosphere, etc.

If I were their age I would go to San Francisco Beach Club, having Paradise Beach Club to my right and Carlos n Charlies to my left. :D

19 & 21 yr olds might enjoy XPLOR rather than XCARET. It's located right next door, but it's more "adventure" with Zip-lines, ATV buggies, cave paddleing and swimming, etc. Check it out. While it's still a little hassle to get there, it would be a better options (possibly) than XCARET.
