How is the information recorded on the bracelets? Is the muster location printed on them? Or is it electronic?

 

I read the bracelets are color-coded. Is it the color of the bracelet that tells staff where the child should go?

Each plastic bracelet has the muster station location printed on it in large print. I don't remember what the color of the bracelets may have implied (age groups or clusters of muster stations).

They're just generic plastic bands -- nothing to connect your child to the band and vice versa, nothing electronic, etc.

 

They're just so that kids can be taken to the right muster station no matter where they are on the ship.

and my favorite part of this is, 'bear' my DGD's constant companion also gets a band around his neck to match his little person's band. Made her more willing to keep it on when she was smaller.

Now at 11 she wears it fine of course.
