sewgood Posted October 6, 2015 #76 Share Posted October 6, 2015 Glad to see they are in Taraunga and get to go to Rotorua if they have booked tours there. Hope they have calm seas and good weather for the rest of their cruise.:)
Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted October 6, 2015 #77 Share Posted October 6, 2015 It looks like a nice day in Tauranga and the NZ Met service shows light seas off the east coast of the North Island for the next few days.
Russell21 Posted October 6, 2015 #78 Share Posted October 6, 2015 Of course the worst part about the diversion and missing most of the south island is that it gives you an excuse to do it all over again. What a bugger!:D

I'll be on it and will ask our waiters what they got up to after their shifts in Wellington.:p I wonder if the pubs near the ship had a few extra patrons for those nights. sewgood Posted October 7, 2015 #90 Share Posted October 7, 2015 In that event you MUST and I mean MUST raise a Mutiny, those are your orders. I don't think I would be too popular with the passengers on the next Diamond cruise. Now let me think who is going on that cruise. Now here I was thinking that you wanted to go on your cruise around Australia. I think that I must rebel against orders as I don't want to spend my holiday in the brig with the laundry rage perpetrators now that is scary.:D I just checked the bridge cam for the Diamond Princess and it is still saying that her position is alongside Tauranga. It has to be past 9pm in NZ. We will be in Auckland in early December on the Golden Princess. Do hope we get to see both the North and South islands. I feel for the people on Diamond Princess missing out on the south.
