Poconolady Posted October 5, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2015 Does anyone who has recently sailed the Main River, esp between Nurnberg and Frankfurt, have any comments on the river levels. Are river boats sailing or are cruises being done via bus? I dont see much on here about the Main River.
bobpatj Posted October 6, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 6, 2015 As long as you're in the Main-Danube Canal, you're fine. It's Regensberg to Passau that's the problem area.

That part if the Danube is a problem. We started in Regensburg. Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk

Poconolady Posted October 7, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted October 7, 2015 Thank you, but we are sailing on the Main River between Nurnberg and Frankfurt, not on the on the Main-Danube Canal, or anywhere near Regensburg. My question was directed toward information about that area of the river. Anyone who has sailed on that section of the Main, were there any problems recently? Are the water levels good for cruising?
