noslen3333 Posted October 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2015 On our last cruise to Aruba, we walked to a nearby casino near the port and when we left it, we went across the street to an open air Italian Restaurant. I had the best fish I've had in a long time and the absolutely best home made Sangria. I have day dreamed about this meal. We are going there in October on the Triumph and I was wondering if it still exist. Have any of you eaten at this restaurant recently? I hope it is still there. If not, does anyone know of a bar/restaurant that is an easy walk from the pier?
cb at sea Posted October 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2015 We ate there years ago...I didn't find it anything special, but we did eat outside, and there was a band playing....it was a nice evening. Not great food, but, that's ok!
Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted November 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 16, 2015 PLEASE take a cab to Giani's trust me you will not be disappointed not the least! We also cruised to Aruba this past May, loved it so much we went back there for a land based vacation in july and october and booked up twice again to go there, Aruba is the best island we ever encountered! No haggling, no vendors bothering you, the people are friendliest and the best, its very safe, the food/restaurants are abundant and amazing, the sunsets are the most beautiful, the beach is beautiful and I can't say enough good about Aruba. You MUST go to Gianni's its not that far from the port trust me.
