Thrak Posted October 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2015 (edited) My cruise history has Cruise Days and Cruise Credits. Please tell me what are Princess Credits Cruise Credits are used to determine your Captain's Circle status. Your status can also be determined by number of days sailed. Each person "normally" gets 1 cruise credit per cruise. If you cruise solo you get 2 credits for that cruise If you sail in a suite you get 2 credits. If you sail solo in a suite you get 3 credits. Pam in CA Posted October 20, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2015 When calculating your Captain's Circle Loyalty level for benefit perks, Princess uses your number of credits, not number of cruises. It says "cruises" on the website but it's really credits.
IECalCruiser Posted October 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 20, 2015 As you posted, your Cruise History shows Princess Credits and Princess Cruise Days and you can earn Captain's Circle status with either. You need to have 3 cruise credits or 30 days to be Ruby on your next cruise or 5 cruise credits or 50 days for Platinum or 15 cruise credits or 150 days for Elite. If you sail shorter than 10 day cruises and/or cruise solo or in full suites you will probably reach the next level based on cruise credits rather than days. You only get one credit for each day you sail, even if you cruise solo or in a full suite. For instance, we have been on 19 Princess cruises but five of those were in full suites so we have five more cruise credits for a total of 24. Because we have sailed on a number of 7 day and shorter cruises, we only have 161 cruise days on those 19 cruises.
