Which ship

My daughter and I are planning our first cruise for her graduation gift. She will be 19 and I'm 43 . we are planning carnival thinking Caribbean in beginning of Dec 2016. Which ship do u recommend that we both v would enjoy. Thank you

This is what I would do.

 

Figure out what itinerary you would like to sail.

 

That will help you to narrow this down to a sub-set of Carnival Ships.

 

From there in addition to visiting the Carnival Board go to the member review section of Cruise Critic to read reviews from people who have sailed on the ship(s) you are considering.

Carnival ships leave from many ports. Do you live nearer the east or west coast?

What port or ports do you want to sail out of? Will you fly or drive to the port? Answering those questions can help narrow it down.

If you're driving to Miami, also consider nearby Ft. Lauderdale. Much easier to navigate than Miami, IMO.

We tend to cruise out of Florida.

 

When you live in a city with seasonal weather and only have the warmth for a few months, we look forward to traveling out of Florida and making it a big vacation either before or after we cruise.

Don't forget Galveston! That's just about the same distance as Fort Lauderdale and New Orleans is probably even a little closer. Both Galveston and New Orleans have Carnival ships and as a bonus are much closer to many Caribbean ports and no farther from your home.

 

Galveston gets the Breeze in May 2016 too. We will be on the Breeze for a b2b in Nov/Dec 2016.

I talked to a lady from carnival. And she mentioned Galveston's breeze. Which looks awesome just hoping my daughters winter break will allow us to go at that time
