School hols vary from state to state and country. I just looked it up for you and was going to copy, but it would be easier to just ask Mr Google, as I did.

 

School holidays 2017 Australia, then ditto New Zealand will give you the information that you want.

 

I know you wil love coming down to visit.

Summer break here is from roughly the week before Christmas until the end of January.

Thank you so much. Here in the states holidays can vary quite a bit from state to state and even by county. Nice that yours are more uniform.

The best time to cruise NZ is February/March, there is a higher chance of more settled weather then - unless a cyclone heads down that way from the South Pacific as it did this year but that is quite rare.

They should definitely keep an eye out for the specials but as they are planning so far ahead, it will be the early bird sales that will hold the best value for them.:D
