goldiep Posted October 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2015 We are planning an Australia/New Zealand cruise for 2017 and yes, I realize I'm planning WAY in advance. Can anyone tell me when students are on break? We hope to avoid this busy time. Thanks.

I just looked it up for you and was going to copy, but it would be easier to just ask Mr Google, as I did. School holidays 2017 Australia, then ditto New Zealand will give you the information that you want. I know you wil love coming down to visit. fe

goldiep Posted October 23, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted October 23, 2015 Thank you so much. Here in the states holidays can vary quite a bit from state to state and even by county. Nice that yours are more uniform.
Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted October 23, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2015 The best time to cruise NZ is February/March, there is a higher chance of more settled weather then - unless a cyclone heads down that way from the South Pacific as it did this year but that is quite rare. goldiep Posted October 25, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted October 25, 2015 I've heard November is nice also. That's another option we are considering.

Rare MicCanberra Posted October 25, 2015 #8 Share Posted October 25, 2015 You can sometimes score some good deals with Nov/early Dec cruising.:) They should definitely keep an eye out for the specials but as they are planning so far ahead, it will be the early bird sales that will hold the best value for them.:D
