Wayfarer v. Seafarer?

New to Holland and was looking at the available cruises they have on their site. Is there a difference between a Wayfarer classified cruise and a Seafarer? if so what is that difference? thanks!

They're different itineraries. Seafarer goes to the ABC islands and Wayfarer goes to eastern Caribbean islands.

 

Here is a sample wayfarer itinerary, 11 days:

... one day (10 vs 11) & different ports of call, IIRC ... suggest you check the HAL web site or call HAL Ship Services for details ...

I've done both itineraries a number of times and have totally enjoyed them each time. If there are some islands you particularly wish to visit, choose that itinerary.

You can also often do both for a 21 day "Collectors Cruise". We have done that several times and doing it again in Jan/Feb only twice so will be onboard for 42 days.:D:D

We have done the Seafarer and Wayfarer as back-to-back (now called Collectors Cruises) quite a few times.

We really enjoy them.

... sure would IF OP was ready to make reservations for a specific cruise ... but for general cruise itinerary information, IMO Ship Services would be as good a source for such info ...

I've phoned many cruise reservation lines without following thru with a booking. I've always asked questions there. Not once have I been transferred to ship services. The op can start there but it seems a waste. Ship services wouldn't be the right place. I want the op to have correct information.

Ditto here, which is why I suggested alternative sources - i.e., that OP "check the HAL web site or call HAL Ship Services for details".

I've got a Wayfarer/Seafarer booked. 21 days Caribbean, no repeated ports apart from FLL.:D Basically a Collectors cruise.

We did these two as a Collectors' Cruise on the Noordam in 2013. Either is an excellent choice and the two combined is even better!
