Ditto and in the past we have needed the information to verify a cruise for reward status. (not Carnival)

Rare sparks1093 Posted November 28, 2015 #11 Share Posted November 28, 2015 Yes! I glue a magnet to the back and put them on the fridge with my photos. I put a magnet on ours too and put them on my workstation at work. I always get a ship's magnet and it goes above the sail and sign. I will need a bigger door on my workstation soon.:D
Sparky2 Posted November 28, 2015 #12 Share Posted November 28, 2015 On one of our B2Bs the guy dinged it and put it in the bin as we were getting off the ship to go through customs. I said "I want that" so he had to dig for it. On our last B2B, the guy who was escorting us off the ship to go through customs & back on the ship, took all of our cards to ding out at the desk. He did give them back to us, thought, when we got back on the ship.
watermelonqueen99 Posted November 28, 2015 #13 Share Posted November 28, 2015 (edited) Of course you can! I have all 6 of ours, and I'm trying to think of something cool to do with them after we receive our gold cards in January. Enjoy your cruise, and prepare to be addicted! :) Edited November 28, 2015 by watermelonqueen99
evandbob Posted November 28, 2015 #14 Share Posted November 28, 2015 Yes! I glue a magnet to the back and put them on the fridge with my photos. I've used double stick tape to attach mine to the side of the fridge. The front door has magnets from all the places I've visited. Nice way to remember....... Rare pirate4me2 Posted November 28, 2015 #15 Share Posted November 28, 2015 I keep ours and have them in my momentos box with all my little memories. I like to look back thru them now and again. :)
Rudyard Posted November 29, 2015 #16 Share Posted November 29, 2015 There are rare exceptions to the rule. On my first cruise, with Royal, I was looking forward to starting my card collection. On debark day we were kept from getting off the ship for a couple of hours due to a computer glitch. Eventually they let us off because they needed to turn the ship around and needed us out of the way, but since the computer problems weren't resolved they kept our cards to scan later. cruzelover55 Posted November 29, 2015 #17 Share Posted November 29, 2015 I've used double stick tape to attach mine to the side of the fridge. The front door has magnets from all the places I've visited. Nice way to remember....... Have lost so many momentos through the years for various reasons, last one was due to Hurricane Ike. Since then, like you mentioned, I get magnets from places I have visited, and put them on the fridge. Thankfully, I have an upright deep freeze next to it as will need the room soon! I had not thought of putting my sail and sign cards up. Good idea! But, only have the ones since 2008. Wish there was a way to replace the ones I have lost. So glad for this post as my husband has asked me why I have hung on to the ones I have. Now, I have an answer! Now, I am trying to think of a way to incorporate my Carnival pins. Any ideas?:)
teacher32 Posted November 29, 2015 #18 Share Posted November 29, 2015 We have all ours except from our very first cruise back on the Holiday. They dinged them and put them in box. They were doing everyone's that way and we didn't know any better. Sorry to not have ours from our very first cruise.
surfjock27 Posted November 29, 2015 #19 Share Posted November 29, 2015 Each cruise we take gets it's own shadow box hung on the wall in our home office. We get a magnet and post card from every port and put them, along with our sail and sign cards in every shadow box.
Jay Smedley Posted May 25, 2016 #20 Share Posted May 25, 2016 We have saved all of ours. I made a custom frame for them.
RWolver672 Posted May 25, 2016 #21 Share Posted May 25, 2016 Now, I am trying to think of a way to incorporate my Carnival pins. Any ideas?:) I bought a model ship from each of our cruises. In my garage, I built a long shelf that has all of the models on it. Above each model is a framed picture of the ship with the date of the cruise on it. I drilled a small hole in the picture frame and glued the ship's pin in it.
