Buster27 Posted December 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2015 Can someone please suggest a hotel near Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale for a pre-cruise stay? Possibly one that has a free shuttle to the port and food available ? THANKS

A&Jfamily Posted December 3, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 3, 2015 We like the Gallery One Doubletree because of the room layout. It is also a hop skip and a jump from the grocery store, mall and Starbucks....

1midsun Posted December 3, 2015 #6 Share Posted December 3, 2015 We stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites. Was a nice hotel, close to shopping, and included breakfast. The shuttle was approx $10 - $15 per person We would stay there again. Was approx $250 per night.
Devo1459 Posted December 3, 2015 #7 Share Posted December 3, 2015 Embassey suites or the Amerisuites right by it. They have shuttles but I prefer snagging a cab and not being on a crowded shuttle. Cab rid is cheap. $15-$
Kamloops50 Posted December 3, 2015 #8 Share Posted December 3, 2015 You could check this site for hotels in the area in different price ranges http://www.pre-cruisehotels.com/
ccruise87 Posted December 3, 2015 #9 Share Posted December 3, 2015 Springhill suites. Free shuttle from airport and free shuttle to cruise port. Very clean, super friendly staff, free cookies and bottles of water throughout the day. Also, right across from a big shopping center with restaurants and a BJ's. Love it for a pre-cruise stay! ProfCruise Posted December 3, 2015 #10 Share Posted December 3, 2015 If you're looking for a budget spot, we always stay at the Quality Inn & Suites Airport/Cruise Port South. They have a free shuttle to and from the cruise port and airport, free breakfast, and free internet. We usually pay around $100 a night.
summersigh Posted December 3, 2015 #11 Share Posted December 3, 2015 We like Comfort Inn & Suites on 17th. From the rooms on the east side you can see most of the cruise ships in the port.
riffatsea Posted December 3, 2015 #12 Share Posted December 3, 2015 (edited) We stayed at Hyatt Place 17th St.It has a nice free breakfast buffet and there is a mall with shops and restaurants down the street and just across the way. Shuttle from airport to hotel is almost free($2) but we took a taxi to the port as it was quicker and a touch less expensive than the shuttle from the hotel. ($10) Edited December 3, 2015 by riffatsea

kbh2 Posted December 4, 2015 #14 Share Posted December 4, 2015 If you're looking for a budget spot, we always stay at the Quality Inn & Suites Airport/Cruise Port South. They have a free shuttle to and from the cruise port and airport, free breakfast, and free internet. We usually pay around $100 a night. We are staying here prior to March cruise and the airport shuttle from Ft lauderdale is free but it is $15 to POM one way or $25 round trip or $10 to Ft Lauderdale cruise port. Seems to be a good deal..

cruzkitty Posted December 4, 2015 #17 Share Posted December 4, 2015 THANKS everyone ! I got the Embassy Suites. It was the best bargain and looked nice. You will like the Embassy Suites. We always stay there. They have free Happy Hour in the evening, and a nice breakfast is included with your stay. Sometimes we take a cab to the port, but mostly, sign up for their Shuttle upon arrival at the Hotel. It is a beautiful place to stay.

royalcruz Posted December 4, 2015 #19 Share Posted December 4, 2015 Instead of taking the shuttle from ES, take a taxi whenever you are ready for the same cost as the shared shuttle.
