Iron in cabin

is there an iron in the cabin? We will be sailing the Regal Princess.

No.

However, Princess ships have laundry rooms on every deck that are equipt with irons and ironing boards. As an aside, hottest irons I have ever used. Be mindful.

Irons are forbidden in cabins on every cruise line I've been on as they are deemed a fire hazard. On Princess, they are available in the laundry room.

It's so easy to use the irons in the laundry rooms on Princess ships.

You also have the option to send things out to be pressed. :)

As others have said, every laundry room (there's one on most passenger decks on every Princess ship) has ironing boards and irons you can use with no fee. Besides, there really isn't room in the cabins for an ironing board.

I very much appreciate the laundry rooms on Princess ships.

We make very good use of them on our cruises.

I was pleasantly surprised on a recent sailing on the NCL Breakaway when the steward offered the use of an iron and ironing board in our cabin. since NCL does not offer laundry rooms on their ships.

Love the self serve laundry.

 

The industrial detergents play up with our skin and Mrs Gut doesn't like sending her undies out anyway.

 

Plus we tend to do longer cruises, last one wa 33 nights, don't know about anyone else but I haven't got enough clothes or that long.
