Anyone know if there is a place that I could buy wine and spirits near the SF cruise terminal? I will be coming directly from the airport to the port on the day of departure.

There is a Trader Joe's and a Safeway near Bay Street off Embarcadero I.e. Fisherman's Wharf area. Have the cab take you there prior to the pier.

You'll also find a few stores near the Hyatt on California.

Also a BevMo on Van Ness just above Market -- certainly out of the way if you're wanting a beeline from SFO to the pier, but maybe worth it for the prices. The morning we sailed, I taxied to the BevMo, bought 12 bottles (and two of their six-pack carrying bags), taxied back to the Hyatt, and we were set!

There is a small market near the cruise terminal (within walking distance) called K&J. Address is 1425 Sansome St. Selection is limited, but it is about a 400 meter walk from the terminal to the store. Just cross the Embarcadero at Lombard St. and walk up Lombard St. towards Sansome St. It sells wine and spirits though at a slightly higher price. If you plan to buy a few bottles, this should be adequate. If you want a wide selection and many more bottles, go to Safeway.
