Jewel - ?'s about drinks

Sailing rcl for the first time in March, on the jewel.

1) what beverages are free at the buffet? Water, ice tea, fruit punches?

2) if we get the drink package that includes speciality coffee and teas, are those available in the dining room or just at the coffee shops?

3) are there coolers or hard cider in cans/bottles? Things like Smirnoff, mikes's, angry orchard or strongbow.

4) will they give you unopened bottles or cans? Would like to be able to put some in the mini fridge to enjoy on the balcony later.

Included drinks are: ice water, coffee, tea (iced or hot), lemonade or flavored water, milk and juice at breakfast. Water is avail. at EVERY eating venue and bar...and in your cabin. Coffee/tea and milk is avail in every eating venue. Lemonade or flavored water is only in the buffet.

With a package, you get 1 drink at a time....so you can "hoard", but it will take a bit of time....I think there is a time limit between drinks.

Free beverages: tap water, coffee, hot tea, iced tea, milk, juices at breakfast. Some ships also have flavored waters.

Specialty coffees are available at restaurants too.

I've seen Strongbow and Angry Orchard.

Glad to hear they have hard ciders.

Even if they do the five minute time limit that carnival does, it wouldn't take long for the two of us to build our own bucket of beer to take with us. Just as long as they will give them to us unopened.

Are the sodas that are served in the dining room considered fountain and part of the drink package or are they charged separately?

Sodas in the dining room can be obtained under the package and would be fountain. Sodas in the dining room purchased separately would be cans.
