winddawn Posted January 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) For those who have been asking about new casino offers, I see a new Premier cruise offer in my offers today with 14 sail dates to pick from. They don't appear to be a very good deal though. The cheapest one showing is $459 inside and the most expensive shows $769 inside. It looks like the casino offers reflect the higher prices we're seeing overall this year. The prices are over $100 more than the Premier offers I usually get. Normally my Premier offers start around $329 in the past. Edited January 4, 2016 by winddawn

I got the offer you did and had the same reaction......I did notice when I went through a few mock bookings and came to selecting a room, the offers that came up did not have a casino rate. They said something about first dibs early saver. So I'm hoping when I look tomorrow, I'll see a casino fare that would be similar to past offers I received. BigB0882 Posted January 5, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 5, 2016 (edited) They finally have a premier cruise in the summer on the Dream but at over $800 per person for an ocean view room we can't justify it. I have always wanted to do one but unless they were giving us well over $1000 in casino cash (they aren't!) then I will just sit and wait for more Pack and Play offers. I don't understand why these Premier cruises aren't at the bargain rates of the Pack and Play. They only invite the biggest gamblers so they know they are going to make every penny back and then some. Edit: I decided to call and my code is PC9 and was offered $500 casino cash. That is a good deal but would still have us paying $1100 total for the cruise for two of us. I assume I would be the only one with the DOU card and my guest would not or is this offer good for myself and my husband? What other perks may make a premier cruise worth the extra money? I hear the casino is a nightmare and is extremely packed and smokier than normal. Do they have extra drawings that make it worth it? We already get a DOU card on our next sailing because of hitting 5000 points on our last cruise. I think waiting for a Pack and Play and paying only $300 for a cruise plus getting $100 OBC seems a smarter move. shibby sails Posted January 5, 2016 #9 Share Posted January 5, 2016 I think waiting for a pack and play is better also but they don't seem to be coming. I agree though that the casino rate for a premier cruise is not a very good deal to make me want to book it.

The DOU card is good for two people as long as one is playing in the casino and both are present. There are daily drawings, sometimes more than one. Yes, the casino will be more crowded (at least it was when the casino fares offered real savings) and definitely smokier.
AngAndBoys Posted January 5, 2016 #11 Share Posted January 5, 2016 Anyone know what PC4 gets you? Mine doesn't say anything about cash, so maybe none? Also, I've never been on a Premiere and just recently started getting the offers. Most of the ones I've gotten are for 7 days and shorter is really more realistic for me. Do they offer shorter ones often? I've got a short one booked this month and I'm hoping more are forthcoming.

Djptcp Posted January 6, 2016 #14 Share Posted January 6, 2016 DH and I just did an 8-day premier casino cruise on the Conquest in mid-December and our balcony cabin was much less than what it would be on these new premier casino cruises, so I doubt I will book one. The summer cruise prices seem to be higher in general, so that could be the reason. I'll just wait for other offers. We love the premier casino cruises and if you haven't done one, try it.
