Transportation from Port of Miami to Port Everglades

Hello All

We are doing back to back cruises in Feb. First one on Norwegian Getaway and then right onto Regal Princess. 2 people

We are getting a shuttle to Port of Miami from Ramada Port Everglades for the first cruise. A lot of shuttles only go from Port to Airport/hotel and vice versa.

Cab and private car are an expensive option. Or grab shuttle to hotel and then another to the port. Not sure what best option is. Any ideas?

Thanking you in advance

Arlene

You could do a shuttle from Port of Miami to Ft Lauderdale airport. Then cheap cab from airport to port (less than $20 for two airport to ship). Or, Uber. Or private car. Skip taxi for the whole trip due to traffic possibilities, etc. Cheapest may be shuttle to FLL, the cab to port...good luck.

Why would a taxi have traffic possibilities, but not a shuttle, Uber or private car?

Meaning costs, it Uber and shuttles are set costs, whereas a taxi is on the meter, and getting stuck in traffic adds up...sorry if that wasn't clear. Obviously, major traffic snarls will affect the transportation portion of any road vehicle, however with shuttle or Uber, your costs are fixed, unlike a taxi...
