where to store luggage for day - fort lauderdale

We disembark NCL Escape in Miami and fly out of Fort Lauderdale at 9:30 PM to Canada. Any ideas as to where or what we could do with our luggage for the day so we can wander around the beach area for the day??

Rent a vehicle for the day and you'll have it, preferably in the trunk, to store your luggage and a mode of transportation to the beaches and FLL airport.

Each airport terminal has luggage storage at Bags to Go (http://www.bagstogo.net). The sun trolley (http://www.suntrolley.com/airport-link/) airport link operates on the weekends for free and you can take it to/from downtown Fort Lauderdale.
