News of Divina's April 2017 Transatlantic Miami-Rome?

Does anyone have any info on the Divina's return to Europe in 2017? The advance copy of the May 2016-May 2017 MSC cruise catalog that my TA gave me shows the Divina leaving Miami on 1 April 2017 and sailing to Civitavecchia (Rome) via New York, Bermuda, Azores, etc. - a 22 day cruise. The new copy of the same catalog no longer shows it and it's not yet on the MSC Italian website.

Capri, MSC Divina will be sailing the Caribbean year round and will not be returning back to Europe in April.

That article is dated 11 Nov 2015. I was on the Divina for that transatlantic from Genoa and we were told she would homeport in Miami until early 2017. At least one other cruise site is also reporting her return to Italy in April 2017.

Interesting!!! Not showing any Caribbean itineraries after March or 2017,,,wondering when MSC decided to move Divina back to the Med??? We were under the impression that Divina was going to be staying in Miami year round!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

They promised to leave the Divina in Miami year round but there promises are not very dependable.

Eventually all the MSC ships have to return to Italy for drydock, crew change, refurbishing and replenishment. The Divina was scheduled for a year and a half out of Miami, no more. Have no fear, it will probably be replaced with another ship.

Seaside is set to replace Divina in Dec 2017, I would imagine Divina will extend until a week or so before Seaside arrives. Just a thought!

My MSC consultant who has been watching for this cruise for me checked the inventory and just e-mailed me that the Divination will be in Miami year round [emoji25]

I was under the impression Divina would stay in Miami and do different itineraries then Seaside. Exotic, longer and shorter cruises. I'm sure it will go into dry dock and get spruced up and an upgrade before heading on it new runs.

Divina was due in dry dock prior to returning to Miami last year.
