Excursion recommendations

Looking forward to cruising on the Regal Feb14-21. Any recommendations for excursions in St Thomas and St Maartin?

I would go to the ports of call and see what other people are doing in St. Thomas and St Maarttin. St Thomas and St Johns are get for their beaches. St Maartin you can take the water taxi to the beach or take a island tour with Bernard.

If you like water excursions and enjoy snorkling look at the B.O.S.S excursion in St Thmas It is unique and a lot of fun. Have done it twice and would do it again.

You can get a guide book that covers those ports and read through to find activities of interest to you. Also google each port and you'll get some tourism websites.

I asked the same question about St. Maarten excursions a couple of years ago and the overwhelming recommendation was the America's Cup Race. They were right - it is a great excursion. We (DH, DB and SIL) really enjoyed it especially since we had all sailed before (Dad owned sailboats for 40 years) but past experience is definitely not a prerequisite.

I am doing the B.O.S.S excursion in St. Thomas on Feb 29. I've done the America's Cup Regatta twice and would highly recommend it. I plan to do it again next March. 27 days and counting. :)

Tell the Capt the old guy in the black snorkle suit will return some day. After a long stint at sea. BOSS is a great excursion. Buy one of the fheap underwater Fuji singl use cameras at Walmart. They will take pictures of you underwater.

Must they be booked through the ship? Sorry I can"t answer that, because I always booked them through the ship.
